PLEASE NOTE: We are discussing BLOWN insulation. Blown fiberglass is fireproof. Unfaced fiberglass batts are too. It’s when you add a kraft paper backing to the fiberglass that it is no longer fireproof (however, it’s still more fire resistant than cellulose).
