Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) is the #1 specced construction roofing system in the southern United States because it’s durable, fairly inexpensive, and rated by both Energy Star and the Cool Roof Rating Council.
A TPO system exists that meets every insurance and code requirement we’ve ever encountered.
It is a single-ply reflective roofing membrane made from polypropylene and ethylene-propylene rubber polymerized together. It available in standard and puncture-resistant thicknesses, and is typically installed in a fully adhered or mechanically attached system, allowing the white membrane to remain exposed throughout the life of the roof.
Available in white (most reflective and energy efficient), tan, and gray.
Modified bitumen 2-ply roof systems can be installed with the common torch method, asphalts, or cold adhesives. Best for flat or low-slope roofs.
We never use peel-and-stick products.
Steel is used commercially for both siding and roof systems, and is a cost- and energy efficient way to both refurbish and protect the exterior of most any building. Regardless of its application, it is characterized by its durability, high energy efficiency, and fire resistance. Depending on the need, we are capable of both on-site rolling and prefab.
R-Panel: This is a screw-down system using long-life fasteners. Least expensive of steel roofs.
Standing Seam: This is a hidden fastener system with both structural and architectural applications.
Asphalt shingles are the most predominant and cost-effective system for roofs with a 3/12 slope or steeper, offering high value and durability for the cost. Shingles are often specced in tandem with metal sections for a high-end contemporary look.
We carry asphalt, composite, and rubber shingles from a dozen manufacturers. The various models have different performance capabilities, different life spans, and of course different prices.
Elastomeric roof coatings are tough and highly flexible. Available in acrylic, urethane, and silicone varieties, we can help determine the best solution for your specific application.
We specialize in high-performance liquid-applied coatings that resist cracking and peeling. The coating also provides a protective barrier which reflects the sun’s heat and destructive UV rays.
Specialty Tile: Roof tiles are designed mainly to keep out rain and are traditionally made from locally available materials such as terracotta or slate. Modern materials such as concrete and plastic are also used and some clay tiles have a waterproof glaze.
EPDM: Single-ply puncture-resistant membrane. Fully adhered, mechanically attached, or ballasted.
Tar & Gravel: While we do not recommend this system, we can repair/replace tar & gravel roofs.
We repair and maintain most every type of commercial roof out there.
